Aboard a Mississippi paddle steamer bound for New Orleans you enter the main stateroom. A honky-tonk piano is playing and your attention is drawn to a tall stranger dressed in high Southern style. He deftly shuffles a pack of cards and one glance at the steel hard eyes and the mean mouth tells you this is THE GAMBLER, the best poker player on the river. He throws you a challenging glance. Will you take the challenge and play the Gambler? The cards are shuffled and the game is ready to commence . . .
