The Lost Princess
The King's only daughter has been kidnapped and he has offered her hand in marriage to the brave Adventurer who rescues her. You must first pass the wizard's test, then venture out to confront gallant knights and explore mysterious temples and forbidding castle on your perilous quest. Can you rescue the princess before time runs out?

The title screen reads “COPYRIGHT BY M. FITZGERALD” — Mark Fitzgerald, who wrote all three of the M&M Software titles Mountain Valley distributed. Volcano Island’s title screen gives the name in full. Whether Fitzgerald is one of the two Ms in M&M Software is not recorded anywhere here.
The cover promises “a text adventure with colour graphics”, and the captures bear it out: a line drawing sits above the text.
All three Spectravideo titles are captured here — title screen, opening text and first location apiece. They are the only in-game images of any SVI title in the archive.
